I am trying to connect my home theater to my pc so i can watch movies and listen to music using my pc. My motherboard is http:// and my dvd home theater is http:// . What cable should i buy so i can use 5.1? Is that enough? http:// .

No. Your Home Theater system does not have the inputs for it. Your best bet would be to simply try it with a 3.5mm to RCA L/R cable and see if your system tries to simulate 5.1 surround.

To output 5.1 sound from your motherboard you need 3 cables with mini-jack each on MB side, each cable sends signal for 2 channels. Your Samsung uses only double RCA as input, so I don't see a way to make it work, at least not without some kind of adapter.

Thank you very much for your anwser. Can you suggest me any other cable that can transfer content from my PC to the 5.1 sound for sure? I am using this online shop skroutz.

Thank you for your anwser. i have noticed there are some adapters that can convert hdmi to optical but i do not have any kind of knowledge about audio to be honest.
