Connect sharp aquos tv to lg sound bar with only optical connection, tv has only digital port

If by digital port you mean a coax RCA digital audio output then you will need a coax to optical converter like this one

Found an optical connection on my dish receiver. It works but my wired subwoofer has almost no volume and can't increase it.
