Connected my TV to my desktop & the coax cable isn't sending audio to the tv

My tv has the PC RGB connection right next to the digital coaxial connection. I just bought a coax cable and I've connected it from my computer to the tv. The sound is not working at all. I used to use an aux cord to connect it to my monitor so I'm thinking this may have something to do with it. Pls help

The digital coax output on your PC may have to be turned on in the audio control panel. Make sure that the TV audio input is actually not an output and is associated with the input for the PC. Check the TV menu to see if there is a place to do it.
