Connecting a headset with single headphone jack to pc with dual headphone jacks.

Is there any sort of adapter you can get, as my headset has a combined mic and audio jack whereas my pc has seperate ones, so i can either speak in one jack or listen in the other which is no good for gaming. Any help would be appreciated, if i have made an obviouis error, feel free to explain it to me, thanks in advance.

plug it in the headphone jack(usually colour coded as green) and you should be fine

you could use this http://www.walmart.com/ip/StarTech-3.5mm-4-Pin-to-2x-3-Pin-3.5mm-Headset-Splitter-Adapter-F-M/17219087 plug in the 4 pins and use the splitter to connect the haedphones and mike to pc . but this headphones will could also be plug in headphones in on pc to have sound but mike wont work have similar one .
