Connecting an amp to a PC using a mixer?

Hi everyone,

I purchased an amp recently called 'Line 6 amplifi' and I'm trying to connect it to my PC as a speaker. I also have an 'Alesis Multimix 4 USB'

I'm trying to figure out how I can connect my amp to my mixer, to then connect to my PC to use it as a speaker, using a guitar cable.

I've been looking online for some guides such as 'How to Hook Up a Mixer to Built-In Amplifier Speakers' but they haven't been incredibly helpful. There isn't a whole lot of documentation for the mixer either. So I'm a little uncertain what all the 'Line in' 'Main out' sockets all do.

The mixer is connected to the PC normally. So far I've tried:

Plugging the cable into the top socket of the amp, then connected it to every socket in the mixer.

The main out socket 'L' produces very bad quality sound. So does the one underneath 'R'
The headphones socket quality is better but still kind of quiet and not brilliant. It sounds much better when connecting to a device using bluetooth. Here's the documentation for the mixer:

I tried plugging the cable into the headphones socket at the back of the amp, then all sockets on the mixer, but no sound was produced.

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Or if you know of any guides I can view to help me understand the features.

I've connected the cable to my top amp socket and connected the other end to my L main out socket. I've also tweaked the settings in the Sound control panel.

YouTube videos and other sounds are being played from the amp, but the quality still isn't brilliant. When I try and increase the volume it gives out a very loud, vibrating echo. The loud vibrating noise happens when increasing the volume via the amp itself or the main volume on the mixer.

Found the problem. The amp had some tones already programmed into it.

E.g. It was currently set to a metal tone from the last guitar session so was still modifying the sound for the speakers. Set it back to a clean tone which has resolved the issue.
