Connecting Bose Solo 5 Soundbar to my PS4 without going through the tv

i want to connect my Bose Solo 5 Soundbar to my PS4 but I dont want to go through the tv. I want to be able to play sound from my PS 4 to the soundbar with the TV off. I was able to do it with my old surroundsound but can't seem to be able to figure out how to do it with the soundbar.

PS4 has optical audio output and soundbar optical input.
If your TV has an analog audio output you can connect that for TV sound to the soundbar.
If you want to use the optical input for the TV then you can get an optical to coax digital audio converter so you can connect the PS4 to the coax digital audio input on the Bose.
