How to connect my home- theater to my Digital Satellite receiver (not A/V receiver) and xbox 360 to receive 5.1 surround sound?

I have a Samsung 39 LED TV model UN39EH5003 with no optical audio but has 2 hdmi ports, and the red and white audio components. My home theater model is LG bh6530t with one HDMI, and one optical audio port. The Digital Satellite Receiver has a digital audio port and hdmi port. Can I deliver a surround sound through HDMI switcher and output to TV. Should I buy a Switcher with audio output? or will a normal hdmi switcher solve this problem? I would welcome any suggestions. Your HTiB has an optical input that you can use with the sat receiver and an analog stereo RCA input that can be connected from the TV.
If you want digital surround on both you would need an optical audio selector like this one

or an HDMI switcher that extracts the audio like this one:
