Connecting my LG tv with the Blu- ray

Hi I am having trouble connecting my tv and DVD player.
I have connected the antenna to the DVD then the DVD to the tv. I also have an HDMI cable connected also but as soon as I turn my DVD player on I can't watch my tv channels.
What have I done wrong?

A DVD player does not have an antenna connection. Usually you would connect the antenna directly to the TV and the DVD player to the TV with HDMI as you have done.
