Connecting "Straight Talk Android Cell Phone" Via my Router

This I did by following instructions with my broadband/ Wi-Fi Tech Steve. It wasn't connecting for some reason (he was a newbe) I could hear the older Techs yelling instructions to him, so I did everything they told him to tell me and it connected but it didn't last very long. So, I gave it a try and it says its connected.. Ive been using it to play games online, But I also want to make calls with it too.. Is that possible?

You want to make calls with the phone over WiFi, I'm assuming you don't have actual phone service on the phone then. You can make calls over WiFi using Skype and also several other apps, Google Voice, etc.. https/www.cnet.com/how-to/3-android-apps-for-wi-fi-calling-with-google-voice/. There is also WiFi calling http/www.howtogeek.com/234608/how-to-enable-wi-fi-calling-on-an-android-phone/ but you need an active phone plan for that.
