My laptop constantly crashes, its really bugging me, its a hp elitebook 8470p and it has a tendancy to crash all the time when its plugged in a running a game, due to the lowish battery life i can only play games for short spaces of time before plugging it in and waiting a while, its running windows 10 with a small hard drive of 110gb but i have a portable hard drive to go with it NOTE: it crashed even before i got a portable hard drive, i now use it on a monitor along with a gaming keyboard and mouse because the screen doesnt function properly, if someone could get this issue sorted out it would be much appreciated thank you so much :D

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to do a clean install of the graphics card driver.
- Open Device Manager and uninstall the AMD graphics driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to AMD.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver.
- Here's the link: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot do make sure that AMD is set as the default GPU then observe it again and see if the same problem will persist or not.
