I was wondering what the cheapest and easiest way to convert casettes into CDs. I have a old sony tape player, but it outputs the audio with two thin copper cables, not RCA. What's the best way to do this. My compter can take RCA, RF, or standard computer audio cable in.

Any ideas?

I was solving this problem recently either. I connected cassete recorder headphones output with computer microfone imput with cable which has 3,5 jack on both sides (ti cost 2-3 dollars). In the computer I had some program capable of recording sound (in my case it was CDex) which I setted to save audio in vaw. Then I pushed play button on cassete recorder and record button in the mentioed software and everything worked. After my recording was finished, I burnt created audiofiles in CD-R using Nero software.
