Convertx to DVD 4 ?

My fiance in Norway Has convertx 4 installed and is using dvd-rw disks and cannot get them to play on her Dvd player? , They will play on her pc though! can anyone help?

How old is her DVD player? Sometimes, if players are rather old they won't be able to play -RW's because of the way the disc is finalized.

And what brand discs is she using? Try getting some Sony or Verbatim DVD-R's instead, since that's the brand they recommend using with that burning software.

Were they -RW discs as well? I'm thinking the problem is the DVD player doesn't support -RW's. This is because the disc is finalized in a different way than +/-R. In fact, they are never really "final"ized, seeing as how you can forever erase and rewrite on them.

You have to make sure the correct region/frame rate is selected. Here in the U.S it's ntsc, you might need to ecode at 25fps PAL format.
