Cooling pad or side clamping vacuum fan?

Hi
I just got a new 15.6" laptop recently.
It's a Sager NP8152-S which was custom built in a Clevo P650RP6 chassis.
(i7-6700HQ, GeForce GTX 1060)

I want to get a cooling device for it. I was thinking a cooling pad, but have also noticed other devices that attach onto the side vent and apparently suck air out.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

Not sure what to get? A cooling pad or one of these side-attachments...

I have used the following DeepCool laptop cooling pad since about mid 2013. With up to 4 fans running it is not exactly whisper quiet, but it is definitely not loud. There are 4 settings: off, top fans on, lower fans on, and all fans on. Since it raises the laptop and angles it a bit, it makes typing a bit easier for me.
