That cop could have been killed. I am glad he tazed her, those 10 year olds need to learn to respect the law

She obviously was not beaten enough at 2-9 years old.

But seriously. How is a guy supposed to subdue a grown man if he can't subdue a 10 year old girl.

Maybe the mother was trying to take her Xbox away?

by a 10-year-old girl using her feet and fists?
Give me a break.

I'm not sure a cop who can't handle an unarmed 10-year-old without a taser can call himself a cop.

This reminds me of that other incident:

Just because you can use it and it probably won't cause long term damage doesn't mean it's appropriate for any case.

Short of a gun being held, there is no reason to taser anyone under the age of 13. If you can not control a kid under that age then I feel sorry for you. I have not meet anyone under the age of 13 I could not subdue regardless of weapon, exception being a gun. To taser a 10yr is just ridiculous. Grap the girl handcuff her and throw her in the car. Don't tell me you cannot do this with her kicking and screaming you can. I have seen it. I've also seen parents grab their un-unruly kids while they kick and scream and straighten them out. All without the need to taser their arse.

This is one of those times I feel the story is blown WAY out of proportion and the cop is being murdered by the media because of all the other taser incidents. I am 100% for the cop in this case. Her mother gave consent and as far as I am concerned if you are under 18 and not emancipated all your rights fall under your parental status.

Kids nowadays have too many rights, more so then adults it sometimes seems. Can't spank your kid or they call CPS and when you envolve law enforcement in the situation you would think it gets solved, WRONG! Now we just hang them out to dry.

Two thumbs up for the officer.

With stories like this happening all the time is there anyone else out there that really doubts we are moving more toward a military state here in America?

What would this 'roid raged cop do if he didn't have a taser? Pull his gun and shoot her?

Holy crow- this story starts out crazy and just gets crazier.

1) Woman calls police because her child won't take a shower

2) Police actually take call seriously

3) Mother tells officer to use taser

4) OFFICER TASES AND ARRESTS TEN YEAR OLD GIRL FOR NOT TAKING A SHOWER AND KICKING HIM IN THE JUNK.

Good thing cops get to keep collecting their public funded salaries when being investigated for these sort of things. I would HATE to think they might actually have to deal with any sort of hardship after doing something like this. Instead they get a paid vacation until an internal review clears him of wrong doing and puts him back on the job. So awesome. When I grow up I want to be a cop so I can live consequence free!

He did subdue her he used his taser lol
One out come of all this is I bet the little girl will listen very carefully when her mother says "I am going to call the police"

Well since parents are not allowed to punish the kids I guess a tasering from the police will have to make due... Some how a spanking seems a little less like abuse but hey thats the world we live in...

Reminds me of something I seen on the news here where a mother was arrested for using a taser to punish her kids...

I think you and icepick314 should give up a child or if you don't have one then a family member and allow people to come by and randomly taser them while you watch.

If it's so acceptable by you then there should not be a reason you would deny this request....
...unless you are the type of person that believes that you are above everyone else and your opinions don't apply to you?

Same sick mentality just like the freaks calling for world population control. How billions of people should be killed off for the safety of the planet. Are they offering thier own life and the lives of their families to start this great honor? I don't think so.
