First, let me give you a brief descriptions of the virus I am dealing with:
This virus hasn't been affecting anything other then Google Chrome, and like most extensions downloaded to Google chrome with the purpose of spreading ads, it isn't visable inside my extensions. The virus (coupon titan) has been adding ads into Google that try to seem relevant to what I have been searching on Google. Its also been spreading annoying pop-ups from time to time (not consistently though).

What I have tried to do:
-I have tried un-installing suspicious programs from my control panel
-Doing virus scans and attempting to quarentine the virus with Hitman Pro
-Doing a factory reset on Chrome

None of the following have worked. :pfff:

The only possible way to get rid of the virus is by going into task manager and ending the task.

If anyone could help that would be great :bounce:

You may need to disable or remove the Coupon Titan plugin from Chrome, and unisnstall the Coupon Titan through the Windows Control Panel Uninstaller or with Revo Uninstaller which removes program's leftover registry keys. Follow with a AdwRemover scan. If necessary, also try removing Chrome before scanning, and reinstall it after the computer is cleaned.

Any of these should remove it for good. Tried all three and they all have done a good job but AdwCleaner removed the stubborn MyStartSearch search-engine the others could not, so I'd suggest trying that one first.
