Hi guys
I have a dell xps L501x and the mainboard is defected and I changed it with same maniboard.But now it dose not support my cpu(core i7) and I have blach screen.When I put cpu core i3 it is working good. What is the problem... thanks

You need to update the BIOS.

Make sure the cpu is compatible..

Please read the post before responding with your ridiculous answer. It's the same cpu and mainboard his computer came with, so obviously it's supported.

You need to do bios update with the i3, then install i7.
