I don't expect free lunch, but I like to see the price before I order,
to belabor the metaphor.
For the aforementioned Targus, other respondents also claim it is very
quiet, which is great.
I personally hate the accumulated noise that intrudes into my senses
as the rotational speed, size, & number of fans in computer systems
increase. It is so...pervasive, perpetual. My next desktop will
likely be a mini-itx net'd to more powerful server hidden away
elsewhere.
