Create a bootable recovery partition?

Hi,

I have the following setup:

128 GB SSD with my Windows 10 installed.
1000 HDD with just data.

I'm traveling 3-4 month's per year and would like to get rid of carrying a USB stick with me all times, in case I need to reinstall my system.

I've created a partition of 35 GB. I want to make an Image of C:\ and transfer it. I also want to make it bootable in case of c:\ crashses. Actually, that's the whole point.

How do I do that? step-by-step?

There is only one active partition. If your current partition crashes, you need to boot from somewhere to change active partitions.

One solution would be to make "standard" recovery partiion on a USB drive, copy if to your "recovery" partition, and have a boot menu (EasyBCD is good tool to create one) to choose boot partition. But - if your primary partition gets damaged, there are good chances your recovery partition will be toasted, too.
