I hope someone can shed a little light on a serious problem i've been having. 3 times in less then a year i have found charges on my credit card that i didn't make. Each time the bank sent me a new card with a new password and yet i'm still finding charges i didn't make on my statement. I don't use my credit card to make purchases through any shady websites and i don't use it in any suspect stores. I use my main pc to do most of my banking on which i regularly scan for malware, viruses etc. I also have Kasperky Internet security installed. Any thoughts on how this keeps happening and is there any additional steps i can take to protect myself?

It might be a direct debit instead of the actual card fraud. Bank should pick this up on your first case.
When You stated there was an unauthorised transaction bank should(subject to local law) check reference number of this transaction.
If bank refunded money it was either too small fee for them to investigate or they simply missed this.
Write a letter/email to them and explain the whole situation. do not write the book. short it down to 4 sentences.
Good luck!

I had a credit card I had never used get cloned. When I got the card I did a balance transfer and then never used it after that, never made a single purchase. When I questioned my card providers fraud team and said could it be an internal fraud at the card provider they replied saying it was a possibility.

I'd try another bank.

In Avast Antivirus you have a safe-mode browsing. Which gets enabled when you deal with sensitive information. I use it when i pay/buy online and it is really helpful. Give it a try!
