Credit fraud from iphone recovery software

So earlier today I was trying to retrieve a picture from my iphone and I tried various 3rd party recovery systems to find it. Later that evening about 2 hours later I get a call saying someone tried spending 100$ from my debit card 10 minutes ago. All I have is a mobile banking app on my phone and thats just for me to see my balance I dont use it for anything else. Is it possible the software stole my info from my phone?

The call was from my banks Fraud security services I double checked. They didn't allow the transaction to go through and once I said it wasn't me they restricted the card. That's not my main fear. My fear is that if they got it through my phone what else may they have.
