critical engine not working

i have asus laptop K53E and am repeatedly getting this message. How do i solve it? please bear in mind I am old age pensioner so not to clever with technology unless its in plain english!

Hi,

According to some forums I'ved read from Asus support site that error has something to do with a software preinstalled in your laptop. and to resolve this you need to download and install this specific software (ASUS Splendid Video Enhancement Technology).
- Here's ASUS support site: http/support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=K53E#.
- In that website select your Operating System first which is I guess Windows 7 (64Bit) then look for Utilities and click on Global (DLM)
- Under ASUS Splendid Video Enhancement Technology.
- Once installed reboot your laptop and that should take care of that error.

i did everything you said and it didnt make any difference. I did have windows 7 but now have windows 10 should i do something different now.
