hi i have sony vaio pcg vx71p brout from france an now i installed windows xp eng but i found dat my ctrl sfift and alt keys are not working

wat to do plz help

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Go into Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager and click on the + symbol beside Keyboards. Double click whatever shows under Keyboards and then click Update Driver. Make sure you are online when doing this and the system should seek a better driver.

i found hotkey utility on sony,z website but it fxd function key only

shift ctrl an alt are still nt working

Are you set to a British keyboard in Control Panel>Regional and Language with all the changes made to UK English, including the Unicode?
