Hi there.

Let me explain my setup so you know what I need, I am a livestreamer and YouTube and have both a studio mic and an antlion modmic, I use the modmic for game and Skype chat, while I use the studio mic for the livestream. (yes I could just mute myself on Skype and in-game, but it's just easier to not have to mess with hotkeys and just use the mute slider on the mic)

Now I bought a pair of HyperX Cloud II's for gaming, but I upgraded to HD 598s and a modmic. I'm still using the HyperX Dongle

but it sits on my desk and looks bad, I've seen people mount DACs to their desk, and I have mounted my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 under my desk, I want to do the same for my HyperX Dongle, but it just doesn't look good, so I'm looking for a DAC with a mic input(it can be a separate jack or share the jack with the headphones) And something that looks kind of like this one.

My price range is $0-$40
It doesn't need to amplify it(would be nice though)
It preferably has a volume knob for at least the headphones

If there is nothing that is what I'm looking for I can buy a normal DAC and an 3.5mm jack extension to go to my computer and mount both under my desk

Thanks
Ben

You will never the item that you described because it does not exist. By their very nature, a DAC is a digital to analog converter where the flow of information will always flow from digital through the convert and become an analog signal. That is the only thing that a DAC can do unless it also has a builting pre-am and amp to power up some headphones.

On the other hand an ADC is an analog to digital converter that is designed to convert an analog input signal to a digital output stream. The input can be a mic that has its signal converted to digital, but that is what an ADC does.

You might need a combination DAC & ADC although I have never seen one. That is the item that should Google.
