Database Server Build

Hello All!

Currently in my business we are using a Dell R710 Sever that has Dual Xeon X5670s and 48GB of RAM. What I am trying to do is figure out what a good server build would be to replace the current server. So far I have been using Dell to customize a PowerEdge R430 Rack Server, but my problem is I am not too sure about what all I need and do not need. Any recommendations for what is absolutely necessary or personal past builds are more than welcomed!

Good to know information:
The server is running Oracle Software
Average usage is about 1,000 people on and off
RAID 10 Configuration
PS4100 Server providing NAS

call Dell. because you use Oracle software, their licensing term are "crazy"
