Solved! Daytek tv codes for universal remote

Hello,i have a daytek television remote that recently stopped working. i went out and bought a GE universal remote but i couldnt program it, and i was told GE and daytek are not compatible. how do i get a remote that will work with my tv. is there any codes i can use to program it? help!!!!
