Hi, we are trying to decide between a few camcorders (e.g., Canon Vixia hrf 700, Sony DCR SR45, Go Pro Hero 5, Sony HDR cx 405, etc.), mainly for family use and occasional kid soccer games. We were hoping to get these answered questioned to help with our decision:

1. Is there a cutoff for optical zoom that we should look for? We read anything above 25x should be good for what we are looking for(?)
2. Is an SD or microSD card better or a hard disk? If the camera takes in an SD card, does that mean we can get an SD card of any size and use it or does the camcorder have an internal limit on memory?
3. Are there any specs we should be looking into for sound quality?

Thanks so much.

Do you think it has similar overall specs to the iPhone 6s? I'm considering it as an additional camera to have around, just because the iPhone 6s (16GB, what I have right now), doesn't have enough storage.
