Dell Complete Cover Warranty - Query

HI,

I have an Inspiron 7537 with Dell CompleteCover Warranty. Now I want to change the HDD with a SSD.
The HDD is stock drive from dell, I want to purchase a SSD from outside and install it.
I just have a talk with Dell India Support, they are saying if I change the drive to another drive, it will void the complete cover from dell.
Is it true? It's ridiculous. I know if I change the drive I'll not get dell warranty on the drive, but I should get dell warranty on the remaining parts. Right?

Yes they are correct once you changed some parts inside the laptop that would void the warranty unfortunately.
