Dell Inspection 1545 no pwer

Hello, My Dell Inspection 1545 Laptop will not power-up. There is no sign of life whatsoever. I have tried the usual procedures, remove battery, hold power button etc, but still nothing at all. The small lamp at the front edge does not illuminate when the power cord is plugged in and the battery was fully charged. It was working fine and switched it of as normal the previous evening but now, nothing !

Any help would be appreciated.

jen...have a store test the power brick..make sure the brick is still outputing the power it needs. also check for any broken wires on the ac brick. the other issue on laptops is where the ac brick plugs into the laptop. over time that power pin can break off or the pin can short out when the spacer rings fall off. the last is a system board failure. on your laptop google class action lawsuits and or system board failures..see if dell has a recall on that laptop.
