Dell Inspiron 14R N4110 Repair Question

I'm currently working on a n4110 for a friend. His fan seized and I just swapped it out but now the accursed thing is giving me two beeps indicating a memory issue. I swapped the memory from one of my older laptops that still works but it continues to beep. I've gone back in and made sure the cabling was secured, screws tightened, reseated the memory and even rearranged them and it still beeps. I know it's a stupid question at this point but with all things considered, did the motherboard just fail on me after a simple fan swap?

Maybe or maybe not, if you can try with just the motherboard and an external monitor with the power adapter, see what happens.
