Solved! Dell Latitude screen problem

I own dell laptop latitude E5400. Recently started flickering on the bottom of the screen. Flickering starts and stays for sometime and it goes. I have consulted with the IT professionals but no solution. This flickering really disturbs while working and it is also worries me since it is only the toll i have to earn my bread and butter.
I really don not know whether it is hardware problem or software problem. Please kindly advise for the solution.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

If you have a desktop monitor, try connecting that to the D-Sub socket on the laptop and see if the flickering happens on the external screen as well. That will tell you whether it's the laptop screen or the graphics adapter - at the moment they're both under suspicion..
