Dell Vostro 3550 Webcam Problem - HELP

My laptops webcam has suddenly stopped working. I've checked the drivers, I've re-installed dell webcam central and nothing is getting it to work again. Does anyone know what i can do to solve this issue?

Do you see the WebCam in the device manager.

I've realised what the issue is... whenever i install the latest Java update, it prevents the WebCam from working This is an annoying issue. Now i have to pick whether i need the java update to play minecraft or uninstall it so i can use my webcam (its an important feature)
