DELL XPS 17 vs ASUS N55SL?

I would really appreciate peoples view on which laptop is the best for photo editing and games.

Hello and welcome to the forums
They both have pretty much the same spec,so you can't go wrong with either but I personally prefer the ASUS one because of having an overall better build quality along with a slightly faster GPU

Looks like a great forum. thanks for your opinion. That's what I was thinking also. I'm also thinking the sound will be better.

ALso, becuase the dell screen is bigger but the res is the same...would the screen be better on the asus?

The Dell XPS 17 is "Item condition: Manufacturer refurbished" In other words - used.
It does have a warranty (or what's left of one) "1 Year warranty till 14/2/13." (that's not a 1 year warranty the way I figure things).

thanks guys. good point, didnt notice that WR2. Looks like the asus is a better deal. think I can get it cheaper than that too..
