After I recovered my laptop from lose of user information and restored everything back the only thing that is not working correctly is the video display turns off as I watch a video. I updated all the video drivers and still doing the same thing dos any one has any suggestions.

Check power saving/management settings in BIOS and in Windows.

The XPSm1730's are notorious for having GPU's die in them.
