Delll Inspiron 7348 CPU upgrade.

I have a dell Inspiron 7348, and its CPU is Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU 3825U @ 1.90GHz[Cores 2] [Logical/Core 2] , since i find it bit slow lately I consider an upgrade on my CPU. I want to know is it possible on this Laptop Model ?

according to Intel the socket type is FCBGA1168 bga means soldered to the motherboard
so you cant upgrade the cpu without very expensive equipment

(2 cores 4 threads)

to speed up your laptop look at the questions below

how much ram do you have ?
(If 32 bit windows no point in going beyond 4GB)

how much free space on the hard disk?
(disk cleanup can remove unwanted data to increase free space)

when did you last do a clean install of Windows?

use a program like autoruns from Sysinternals (Microsoft) to see what software is running in the background and turn off or un install programs which are not required
