bro its just a build guide telling you how to do this. if you dont want desktop graphics for ur laptop then just buy a laptop with ok graphics

wow what a bargain only $900 to conveniently convert my laptop into a desktop. Maybe I could buy a Toms $1000 desktop instead and then have a laptop and a desktop...

Or I could just spend a couple / few hundred dollars more to build a desktop with a GTX 680 2GB instead of 4GB for a single monitor setup.

Don't be so defensive. You posted an idea and people responded to say that it's not really cost effective.

I think it's good of you to demonstrate how it's done though. Maybe don't post all in caps next time and you will be taken a bit more seriously.
