Device manager wont detect Nvidi geforce 820m

I have Lenovo B5030, I installed windows 10, I updated all drivers except the NVidia. When I try to install it it says no NVidia hardware is found. Device manager detects only intel hd. I tried reinstalling the windows, it didn't help. Please help me

You can't really open up and inspect a laptop so you're going to have to send it back to the manufacturer under warranty bud.

Look here for chipset drivers for geforce 820m.
Not sure if you have Windows 10 32 bit or 64 bit

nvidia drivers should always be uninstalled before updating laptop.... do that and get back too me

I have x64. I have already installed Intel Chipset Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) - IdeaPad 305-15IBY, Lenovo B40-30, B50-30, B50-30 Touch, E40-30 (via Lenovo website).

Before win 10 I had win 8.1, and NVidia wasn't detected either. I wasn't able to install the drivers because of that.

Well, the seller told me it has, and on the box of the notebook says it has. Lenovo IdeaPad B5030 15.6",Intel DC N2830/4GB/500GB/Nvidia GT 820M 1GB/BT

seller from a store? it is showing up in device manager?
not sure why a low end mobile cpu getting a dedicated gpu at all.

are you getting the gpu driver from lenovo?

if it not showing on device manager. return it. unless you want to void your warranty by opening it up and see if it is there.

Just to rule it out, you say you have the Intel chipset driver, but did you also install the nVidia driver?

I cant install NVidia driver, it says no NVidia hardware found when I try to install it.

maybe windows 10 is not compatible with that chipset
