Have Samsung Galaxy Tab E. Trying to do factory reset/wipe clean.
However, I can't get past the step "sign in with google acct previously synced with this device."
I don't have that info. What next?

Sorry, I just don't have it. I am trying to set this up for my mother. Somebody apparently started setting it up for her last year, but we don't know what account info was at the time. It was a new device, without a previous owner. I ve been following instructions for factory reset but I can't get it to wipe out whatever old acct info is there.

FYI........I explained why I didn't have that info, so it's useless for everyone to keep asking me about this!!
Fortunately, I solved the issue myself. Phone numbers instead of email addresses were able to identify accounts.
