Did my CPU die or?

Hey, Ive had this laptop for over 4 years and recently it just shows black screen when turned on.
Ive read about the flashing LEDs and how to identify what the laptop is is having issues with, and the light above caps lock and num lock, it only flashes once meaning CPU is not working. Ive tried hard reset etc, nothing worked, and I was now thinking if you guys could help me with a site where I can see what CPU's my laptop supports and motherboard , because I really want to keep this laptop and not just buy another one.

I'd say its time to get another laptop. dv6 is old. Try a MSI, Asus or Lenovo next time.

Its most likely screen or gpu. Either will cost 4x the value of the laptop to repair.

But how is it not the CPU that actually died, since the LED flashes only once , indicating that the CPU is not working.

So its most likely that the GPU is failing and maybe needs a reflow, or a completely new replacement of another gpu if possible?
