Solved! Direct TV

I have a Direct TV model H21-100 receiver
and Direct TV Slimline 3LNB KAKU bands high def. dish
I'm installing this at a vacation house and have an account at home. I'm having trouble getting a signal. Are these components compatable?

They are compatible, but you may want to run the guided setup again. You do have to tell it what dish configuration you have.
