I did reset the pc to the factory settings as someone suggested and it started to work for a while. It has stopped working though again....amy suggestions?

G Guest Guest Nov 1, 2009 #2 Desktop or laptop ? On both first check the BIOS screens to make sure the drive has been recognised there. Then check Windows Device Manager to check if it's there. If not: Desktop, open the case and check the cables to the drive. Laptop, back to the dealer.
