Displaying on my laptop screen

If I were to get this http://www.amazon.com/Tmvel-HDMI2RCACVS-Composite-Converter-Blue-Ray/dp/B009A6PJKQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412101831&sr=8-1&keywords=av+to+hdmi would I be able to diplay it on my laptop screen or no? I think I already know the answer and the question is stupid but still just wonderin.

There usually is no video inputs on laptops(or PC's). The HDMI is output(to a monitor). You'd need a video capture card.
