Solved! Do I have to pay a monthly charge to use Apple CarPlay?

I'm thinking of upgrading my car stereo to something new. I have an iPhone so I want a head unit that has apple car play. I thought I read somewhere that Apple CarPlay has a monthly subscription fee, but I can't confirm it anywhere. Do you know if this is true?

The only thing you will need is a data connection via phone or your car. CarPlay free of charge at the moment.

If you are using the car´s data connection, it will cost you additional fee.
If you are using your phones data, you only need that to pay.

Some other apps using carplay will cost you as well, like deezer, spotify and others.
