Solved! Does an HDMI 2.0 switch fix my problem?

So I want to achieve 4k@60HZ from my laptop to my samsung monitor.
The problem is that my laptop does not have an HDMI 2.0 port so achieving 4k@60HZ directly is not possible. That's when I learned about HDMI switch. But I am quite hesitant on how it works.
I am not sure whether it would work on my laptop because of its hdmi 1.4b port.
Has anyone had this kind of problem?

a switch doesn't upgrade your laptop output.

My laptop is capable of 4k@60Hz. It says so in the user manual. The problem is its port is hdmi 1.4 which limits 4k@30Hz.

4k support? Yes, at 60hz.

Well my laptop does not have a DP port as far as I can tell.
However, as you can see the laptop is capable of that resolution, that's why I thought of buying a switch since its hdmi port limits the resolution to only 4k@30hz. But a switch with hdmi 2.0 port might make up for that? What do you think? And if this is not possible, is there any other way to achieve 4k@60hz?

Like you said the laptop on have hdmi 1.4. and as the spec said. NO 60hz

the source your laptop don't output 60hz. the switch not going create more out of nothing.

there probably some high end stuff might do that. but probably cost more than a new laptop the offer 60hz
