If you feel confident in a little upgrading, the g50 comes with 1600mhz memory. I suggest swapping to a single 8GB so-dimm ddr3l (1.35v) 1866mhz of ram with CAS of 10 or 11. The a8-6410 has a single channel memory controller, so no benefit will come of having 2 sticks. The newegg g50 is the same one as best buys, but with 1x 4GB of ram vs best buy's 1x4GB & 1X2GB setup. If you have a visa debit or credit card newegg is offering $25 off purchases of $200 or more using visa checkout, so that makes it $255, plus an 8GB stick of 1866mhz for another $50 will bring it to $305 vs best buys $300+ tax. The 1866 ram made a phenomenal change in the g50's performance for me. I would say 3-10+ fps in gaming, and much smoother overall operation, no joke. AMD APU's like fast memory, and the A8-6410's memory controller is setup for 1866mhz specifically, so the stock 1600mhz ram in it is holding it back from it's optimal performance. This upgrade is easy and takes about 5 minutes to do. You should be able to fetch $20 for your old ram sticks as well maybe. Just a suggestion. I used the crucial ballistix sport 1x8GB 1866mhz ddr3l found here: http
