Does opening the facebook window tab while watching a movie still makes me online?

Hey guys,
I am watching a movie and my facebook is opened in another window tab in Google Chrome and am wondering does leaving it opened still makes me online? or after few minutes it will make me offline even if am watching the movie on full screen? My pc is connected to the internet of course and I didn't log out from my account on facebook.
