Does the Razer Tiamat 2.2 and 7.1 have equal bass?

Hello, I want to purchase a Razer headset because my old pair broke and Razer is have a 50% off deal starting tomorrow, I am currently looking at the Tiamat 7.1 because my last pair was the Tiamat 2.2, and I loved them, I have read some reviews on the 7.1 and they say the bass isn't great, is it the same as the 2.2's? Because I loved the bass in them.
