Don\'t fullscreen viewing on led tv

Why don't I have full view picture on my Sharp AQuos 1080p 120HZ TV with regular channels, only have full screen picture with HD channels....pls advise if and how do I get full screen viewing for non HD Channels

There is a button on your remote that will change your viewing mode called "View Mode". Your options will be Side Bar, Stretch, Smart Stretch, and zoom. The specifics of each mode are detailed in your owners manual. If you are using a cable, or satellite receiver, you might have to set the mode on that remote separately as well.
