Until this weekend I was the cool user of a dual monitor setup on my Toshiba Satellite P55-A. System is running Windows 10 with HDMI playing video and audio to a small tv and DVI playing video to a monitor. It now appears that the HDMI port on the computer has shut down as it does not register the tv. I've tried restarting it and looking for it in the Intel HD graphics and Windows display but none of that has worked. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Best,

Jack

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First, go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics card driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to the graphics card.
- Once completely uninstalled, download and install the latest driver.
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed then test it again.
- If it will still not work I would suggest to try a different cable or monitor that uses HDMI.
