Solved! Dvd playback problems LG LHB535

DVD playback causes "streaking" and loss of signal similar to tracking problems on a VHS tape. LG will not provide an answer, wants $$$ for me to return unit.

Answered my own question - - after much trial and tribulation, problem solved. Anyone experiencing "noise" during dvd playback, try replacing your HDMI cable. Mine had an intermittent connection at the LG unit.
