Recently I bought a new battery for my E7470 and when I was in the process of replacing it I noticed a ribbon coming off of the daughter board was not inserted properly when I went to reinstall it the touches the mother board and created a small spark. I put everything back together and tried to power in laptop failure. I noticed a faint burning smell and noticed the daughter board was extrememly warm. I removed the daughter board and now the power lugh Crimes on when ac adapter is plug in only
